It means you book the caterer your family already trusts — halal, vegetarian, Caribbean, Filipino, whatever the occasion calls for — and we don’t sell you food. We’re an outside catering venue: no in-house menu, no food minimum, no cake-cutting fee. Somewhere for your caterer to warm and plate is on the requirements list for every space we look at.
We haven’t signed a lease yet. What a room costs to run depends on the building — the rent, the ceiling height, the parking, how many washrooms it already has. We’d rather show you the band we’re designing to than a number we’d have to quietly walk back. Three things move where you land inside a band: the day of the week, how long you need the room, and how finished you want it when you walk in. The add-ons don’t depend on the room, so those stay exact — overtime is $175 an hour, a projector and screen $125. These are 2027 dollars, not today’s.
Yes, with the right paperwork. You arrange a Special Occasion Permit through the AGCO, and a Smart Serve-certified server handles the pouring. We walk you through both, step by step. Evening events serving alcohol also carry security at $50 an hour.
You arrive to a finished room: linens and cloth napkins, charger plates, styled centrepieces, a backdrop arch dressed to match, and lighting in the colour of the look you pick. Setup and strike are ours. Pick one of the five directions — Laurel, Golden Hour, Blush, Monochrome, Regal — and everything moves together. If you would rather use the decorator you already like, book The Space and hand them the room.
Three to six months ahead for weekend dates. We expect September through December to be the busiest stretch, and those Saturdays to go first. Weekday dates should work on shorter notice. Founding families get first pick when the 2027 calendar opens, and they lock their price at the top of the published band for their day, so a rising cost base doesn’t move their number.
Step-free access and accessible washrooms are non-negotiable in any space we sign. We’re still choosing that space, so this is a commitment about what we will take on, not a description of a room you can walk into today. If you have a specific access need, tell us in the last step and we’ll carry it into the search.
Yes to both. Evening and full-day bookings run to 11 PM, and overtime is $175 an hour if the dancing disagrees. The Mehndi Night package is written for Friday and Saturday evenings.
Until the lease is signed, a $250 reservation fee holds your date and is fully refundable. It converts into the retainer only once we have signed and you have stood in the room. After that: a 25% retainer at signing, 50% of the balance at 90 days out, the final balance at 14 days with your headcount. Cancel beyond 180 days and you lose the retainer only. Nothing is charged on this site — sending this form starts a conversation, not a booking.
