An Eid dinner for eighty shouldn’t need a hall built for three hundred.

A Brampton room for 50 to 125 guests, for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha family dinners and open houses. Your own halal caterer, no food minimum, a daytime or an evening block, and doors in 2027.

Eid in 2027, expected

Eid al-Fitr
Tue 9 or Wed 10 March
Eid al-Adha
Sun 16 or Mon 17 May
Weekend after Eid al-Fitr
Sat 13 March
Each year
~11 days earlier

Expected dates, depending on moon sighting; the final day is usually confirmed the evening before, so most families hold the date and the day after. The Islamic calendar is lunar, so both Eids arrive about eleven days earlier each year. If you’re not sure which day yet, give us both when you enquire.

Two Eids, three kinds of gathering, one gap in Brampton.

Search for an Eid party venue in Brampton and you get the same answers as every other search: banquet halls with their own kitchen and a minimum, or a community centre with a tiled floor. The gatherings families are actually planning are smaller and more specific than either.

  • The Eid al-Fitr family dinner The first big meal after a month of fasting, for everyone who shared the month. Three or four households, the grandparents, the cousins back from university. Sixty to a hundred people, one long evening, food that keeps coming. evening block
  • The Eid open house Doors open after Eid prayer and people arrive in waves all day: neighbours for an hour, aunties for three, kids for the whole of it. Nobody is seated for a plated course. The daytime block, 10:00 to 3:30, is built for exactly this shape. daytime block
  • The Eid al-Adha dinner After the qurbani, a dinner where the meat is the point and the caterer is often a family member or the butcher’s own kitchen. A warming and plating area and a loading door matter more than a backdrop. evening or weekend
  • The combined families’ Eid Milan Four or five families who always end up in somebody’s basement, splitting one room and one caterer. A hundred and twenty-five is the ceiling here, and that is roughly where these land. either block

What an Eid gathering needs from a room, listed plainly.

  • A halal caterer of your choosing Any caterer, any cuisine, no in-house menu and no food minimum. If the biryani is coming from an aunt’s kitchen or the meat from your own qurbani, that is self catering, and it is fine. Somewhere to warm and plate is on the list we take into every viewing. yours
  • A clean, quiet corner for prayer Maghrib and Isha both fall inside a 5:30-to-11 evening block, in March and in May. We’ll set aside a clean, quiet corner for prayer, with a mat down and the speakers facing the other way. It is part of the plan for the space, not a promise about a building we haven’t signed. set aside
  • No bar, no permit, no security line An Eid dinner is dry. A dry event needs no Special Occasion Permit, and the $50-an-hour security line on the pricing page is only for evening events serving alcohol. Neither applies here. nothing to file
  • Somewhere for the children Eidi gets handed out, sugar gets consumed, and twenty children need a corner that isn’t the dance floor. A kids’ corner setup is $175 on the add-on list. $175
  • Step-free, for the grandparents Step-free access and accessible washrooms are non-negotiable in anything we sign. Eid is the day the eldest relatives come, and a staircase is the reason they sometimes don’t. non-negotiable

Five-thirty to eleven: how an Eid dinner actually runs.

The evening block, 5:30 to 11:00, on the day itself or the Saturday after. The daytime open house follows the same shape between 10:00 and 3:30, with lunch where dinner is.

  • 5:30 Your block opens, and the room is dressed before you arrive — that part is ours. Your caterer carries in the trays and claims the warming area; somebody sets out the dates and the sweets. load-in
  • 6:15 Guests arrive in Eid clothes and in family-sized groups. Chai, sharbat and something small on the table, because the first hour of an Eid dinner is greetings and photographs, not food. first arrivals
  • Maghrib Around 6:20 in March, closer to 8:35 in May. The corner is ready, the music drops, and the people who are praying go and come back without the room reorganising itself around them. the quiet corner
  • 7:30 Dinner, as a buffet. One serving line clears sixty in half an hour; a hundred guests want two sides of the table or the queue eats the evening. Serving staff are $40 an hour each if your caterer isn’t bringing floor staff. dinner
  • 8:45 Eidi for the children, speeches from the eldest person present, the family photograph that takes twenty minutes to arrange. Isha comes later in the evening; the corner stays set until the end. eidi and speeches
  • 9:30 Dessert and chai. Sheer khurma, kheer, mithai boxes stacked by the door to go home with people. The caterer starts a quiet teardown at the back. dessert
  • 11:00 Block ends. Evening bookings finish at 11, and overtime is $175 an hour if the conversation won’t. The caterer’s waste leaves with the caterer, and the room becomes our problem again. lights

What an Eid dinner costs here, both ends showing.

Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected on a Tuesday or Wednesday, which puts the day itself in the cheaper Monday-to-Thursday band. Eid al-Adha is expected on a Sunday or Monday. Worked examples, not quotes — swap in your own figures.

The Space, Monday to Thursday, is $1,200–$1,500 plus HST. The same room on a Friday to Sunday is $1,600–$2,200.

One 5.5-hour block, tables and chairs set, somewhere for your caterer to warm and plate, sound, a site rep, and the setup, strike and cleaning inside the number.

Take Eid al-Fitr on the Wednesday evening, eighty guests, The Space in the middle of its weekday band at $1,350. A halal caterer at $30 a head is $2,400; a dessert table from the mithai shop, call it $300. About $4,050, plus 13% HST on our line only, and the food is whatever your family actually eats.

Move the same dinner to the Saturday after and the room becomes $1,600–$2,200. If you’d rather walk into a finished room, The Styled Experience is $2,300–$2,700 Monday to Thursday and $2,800–$3,800 Friday to Sunday, with linens, place settings, centrepieces and lighting in one of the five looks already done. Golden Hour or Laurel suit an Eid table.

An open house in the daytime block is The Morning Celebration, $1,400–$2,000 plus HST on any day, 10:00 to 3:30. A hundred people over five hours, in waves, with lunch on a buffet that stays warm, is a cheaper day than the same hundred seated for dinner.

Every band and add-on, both ends showing

Nothing is priced by the head. Eighty guests and a hundred and twenty-five pay the same number for the same block.

What the room provides, and what you bring.

The room provides
The block, tables and chairs set before you arrive, somewhere for the caterer to warm and plate, sound, a site rep for the whole block, setup, strike and cleaning. With The Styled Experience, the linens, place settings, centrepieces, a dressed backdrop and lighting in your chosen look. The quiet corner for prayer, set aside and left alone.
You bring
The caterer, or the family who are cooking. The sweets. The eidi envelopes. Your own decorator if you’re not taking a styled package. Anyone you’d like to lead the prayer or say a few words.
Add-ons that come up for Eid
Kids’ corner setup $175. Chafing dish set of four $140. Serving staff $40 an hour each. Floor cushions and low seating $250. Balloon garland $300–$550. Photo booth $450–$650. All exact, because none of them depend on the building.

Why Eid got its own page.

Because people kept asking. “Diwali, Eid or holiday party” has been an option on our enquiry form since the site went up, and Eid is the one where the follow-up questions are most practical: is there somewhere to pray, is the caterer really ours, do we need a permit for a dinner with no bar. The answers are yes, yes and no, and they deserved a page rather than a phone call.

The other reason is the calendar. Eid lands on a weekday most years, and a weekday evening here is the cheapest band we sell. A family that would never have considered renting a room for Eid can, for about what the food costs, stop clearing the furniture out of someone’s living room.

The honest caveat

There is no lease yet. Everything on this page is how we intend to run an Eid gathering in the room we sign, and the moment there is a room, the specifics — where the prayer corner is, where the caterer parks — go on this page.

What the search for a space is teaching us

Eid gathering questions we get asked

One-breath answers where we can manage it. If yours isn’t here, 647-286-1161 reaches Khushbu directly.

Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected on Tuesday 9 or Wednesday 10 March, and Eid al-Adha 2027 on Sunday 16 or Monday 17 May, depending on moon sighting. Both move about eleven days earlier each year. If you’re not sure which day yet, give us both when you enquire.

Yes, and that is the whole model: any caterer, any cuisine, no in-house menu, no food minimum, no surcharge. If the family is cooking, that is fine too. The six questions to ask any venue about this are at the outside catering page.

We’ll set aside a clean, quiet corner for prayer, with the speakers facing away from it. Maghrib and Isha both fall inside an evening block in March and in May. This is how we plan to run the space; we haven’t signed a building, so where exactly that corner sits gets published when we have.

No. A Special Occasion Permit is only needed if alcohol is served, and the security line for evening events only applies when it is. A dry dinner has nothing to file. If you want the full walkthrough anyway, it is on the plan-your-event page.

Yes. The daytime block runs 10:00 to 3:30 and the evening block 5:30 to 11:00, and the two can be booked together. The Full Celebration covers the whole day from 10 to 11 with a coordinator on the floor, at $3,800–$4,400 Monday to Thursday and $4,500–$6,200 Friday to Sunday, plus HST.

While you’re planning the year

The same room does aqiqah mornings on the daytime block and nikkahs with the reception in the same evening, and Diwali gatherings in the autumn follow the same shape as an Eid dinner. Every band and add-on is published with both ends showing, and outside catering is the point here, not a concession. When you’re ready, the enquiry form takes about two minutes and we reply within one business day.

Founding families go first, and their price has a ceiling.

A short list, free to join, capped at thirty dates. A founding family’s price can’t go above the top of today’s published range for their day. An Eid dinner on The Space can’t cost a founding family more than $1,500 plus HST on a weekday or $2,200 on a weekend, and if it comes in lower, you pay lower. First pick of the 2027 calendar — both Eids included — and an invitation to see the space before anyone’s allowed to call it finished.

If you joined the list when we were advertising 10% off, that still stands — we’re not moving the goalposts on anyone who signed up early.

You’re asking us to email you about the opening, at most once a month. Unsubscribe by replying. How we handle your details.

Or just ask

Khushbu answers her own phone. If your caterer has a question about access, timing or the warming area, put them on the line — that’s a five-minute conversation, and it’s better had now than in 2027.
